Jobs’ most motivating message in the video is, “Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work.” I find that liberating because most of us want to offer the world something of value and impact. But that’s the challenge—deciding if our work is great is not up to us. If history has taught us anything, you have to live in a world surrounded by unreliable critics.

So, I advise you to ask yourself: Do you think strategic planning and creativity matter in business to accelerate growth? Most people are too busy with their daily grind to ponder strategy. They’re not concerned about your innovative ideas until they see the results. Yet, in critical moments—launching a new product, trying out new marketing tactics, approaching a new customer, or achieving your goal—the importance of a well-thought-out strategy becomes clear. It’s not a luxury; it’s a necessity for every entrepreneur who aims to be successful.

Human ingenuity manifests in business through planning and strategy. Consider the aurora borealis, its beauty coming from the precise dance of particles and light. In the same way, a successful business thrives on the careful choreography of planning, strategy, and execution. Whenever I visit the companies that accelerate growth with planning, strategy and execution, I find thriving businesses where the energy is palpable. The team isn’t just working; they are playing, experimenting, and innovating. It is beautiful. This interconnectedness of roles and experiences reveals that our entrepreneurial journeys are not as unique as we might think; they are part of a broader tapestry of innovation and resilience.

Our time is short, and how we spend it matters. Many of us fall into the habit of routine, but breaking free and embracing creativity is vital. We need to have childlike creativity and guts to throw ourselves to accelerate our business without fear of failure.

Creativity in business isn’t just nice or pleasant; it’s essential. It’s how we innovate, connect, and thrive. By sharing our visions, we start a dialogue that fosters growth and collaboration. If you want to accelerate your business, you must boldly express your ideas and strategies. Follow your passion, be willing to take risks, and play the fool.
