Gocon Logistics Private Limited
A mobile app, web app, and admin dashboard that replaced manual documentation and uncoordinated trailer bookings across the container shipment industry.
The challenge
Importers and exporters operating through Indian ports had no integrated tool to manage container transport between warehouses and dock. Trailer bookings were coordinated manually. Documentation was paper-based and time-consuming. Shippers and transporters operated without shared visibility, which created delays and increased costs at every handoff point in the shipment cycle.
Gocon Logistics engaged Appetals to map the end-to-end container shipment process and build a unified system covering all participants: shippers, transporters, and port-side administrators.

How we approached it
Appetals conducted process discovery across the container shipment workflow, from warehouse dispatch to port delivery, to establish the operational requirements before design or development began. The engagement ran for seven months.
The output was a three-surface system: a mobile application for shippers and transporters in the field, a web application for operational management, and an admin dashboard for oversight and reporting. The platform was designed to eliminate manual documentation at each stage of the booking and shipment process and to give all stakeholders shared, real-time visibility into shipment status.
Delivery scope: Mobile application, web application, admin dashboard. Designed for shippers and transporters across the container shipment lifecycle. Project duration: 7 months.

Outcomes
Outcome metrics: not surfaced in archive. Confirm with Ishwar.
Qualitative outcomes documented in source brief:
- Manual documentation eliminated across the container shipment workflow.
- Shared transparency established between shippers, transporters, and port administrators for the first time.
- The platform addressed the core problem of uncoordinated, cost-inflating trailer booking through a unified booking and tracking system.
