St. Angelos Computer Academy
Ishwar Jha took the CEO's chair at St. Angelos and ran the turnaround himself, across revenue, classroom quality, recruitment, and strategy, as one mandate.
The challenge
St. Angelos Computer Academy was an established Mumbai computer-training institute. By the late 2010s, the model that built the sector was under pressure. The brick-and-mortar IT-training era, led by names like NIIT, Aptech, and Jetking, was being squeezed as online learning rose and the old certificate business softened.
St. Angelos faced four problems that were really one problem. Revenue had stalled. Classroom delivery quality had slipped. Recruitment was not bringing in the people to fix either. And there was no clear strategy tying it together. Hiring four separate advisors would have produced four disconnected plans. The academy needed a single person who could own all four outcomes at once, and be accountable for them.

How we approached it
Ishwar Jha served as Consulting CEO. This was not an advisory mandate that ends in a slide deck. He took direct operational responsibility for revenue, classroom effectiveness, recruitment, and strategy, and held accountability for the results.
The four functions were worked as one system, because they were one system. Revenue initiatives were designed and run alongside classroom-quality improvements. Recruitment was rebuilt to feed both. The strategy was not delivered as a document and handed over. It was developed and put into operation during the engagement, with Ishwar in the seat to make it real.
That is the difference this case is meant to show. Appetals can advise, and Appetals can also operate.

Outcomes
Revenue, classroom quality, recruitment, and strategy were run under one leadership mandate rather than four disconnected workstreams. Decisions that would normally wait on four separate advisors were made in one seat, and put into operation while the engagement was live.
The engagement is Appetals' clearest proof that it will step into an operating role, not just produce a diagnostic.
