Stomper is Appetals' own AI product. It helps tech recruiters pre-screen developers from recorded answers, with NLP, AI, and ML.
The challenge
Recruiters drown in candidates and burn hours on early interviews that go nowhere. Screening a developer's actual responses, at speed and without bias creeping in, is hard to do by hand.
How we approached it
Appetals built Stomper, an intelligent interviewing app. A recruiter sends an invite, the candidate records answers, and Stomper returns recorded interviews, transcripts, and ratings from an NLP-powered engine, combined with a structured S.A.R technique for evaluating responses.
Outcomes
Stomper let recruiters pre-screen developers from recorded, transcribed, AI-rated interviews instead of manual first rounds. It is the recruiter-side companion to MockRabbit: the same spoken-answer AI scoring, turned toward hiring teams.
